MagentaTV | UEFA EURO 2020™

Deutsche Telekom's MagentaTV UEFA EURO 2020™ with extensive programming.

PLAZAMEDIA has been commissioned by Deutsche Telekom as the general contractor to realize the interior production of all EURO 2020 matches on a total of 22 live production days on four channels in UHD and HD. The editorial planning and realization was the responsibility of thinXpool TV GmbH as content service provider and program organizer.

On 2,600 sqm of studio and outdoor space as production environment: This is how PLAZAMEDIA staged the EURO 2020 for MagentaTV.

The implementation with a corresponding security and hygiene concept in Ismaning near Munich took place on a total of 2,600 square meters of space with three studios, four playouts and a content center with uninterrupted power supply to provide the major soccer event live and on demand with innovative technology and in the best quality. The 350-square-meter main studio in the ziegelei101 event location was equipped with state-of-the-art features – including a 32:9 LED wall as well as augmented reality and virtual graphics that give viewers the feeling of being even closer to the action.
