For the premiere of the virtual ISPO Munich, PLAZAMEDIA provided comprehensive services in the fields of studio or in-house production as well as media services and on-air graphics. The conference program, with more than 80 talks and podium discussions as well as over 100 workshops on the sociopolitically relevant topics of digitalization and creativity, health and sustainability, was produced in the SPORT1 studio in Ismaning on a studio set specially branded for the fair. Implementing the five-day event also included providing an HD control room, streaming and switching technology and creating graphics such as captions or tables. An average of more than ten hours of programming a day were produced, which was made available live – with up to four streams running in parallel – and on demand.

Furthermore, selected public streams from the ‘ISPO Munich Online 2021’ program – including with climbing superstar Adam Ondra, the outdoor films of the European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT) and the Freeride Film Festival, and fitness sessions from Blackroll and Peloton – were offered live on the SPORT1 YouTube channel, where they are still available on demand.
