Presentation of the German Television Award in the category ”Best Sports Program”
The German Television Award ceremony took place at a grand gala in the MMC Studios in Cologne. The other finalists in the “Best Sports Program” category included public broadcasters ARD / ZDF / NDR with the Handball European Championships 2024 and ZDF with the UEFA EURO 2024.

PLAZAMEDIA technically implements over 1,500 live productions per season for Telekom
PLAZAMEDIA has been working as a cooperation partner for Telekom since August 2019 and realizes over 1,500 live productions per season for linear TV and online/OTT offerings as part of the MagentaSport offer – including from the PENNY DEL, the Google Pixel German Women’s Soccer Bundesliga and the 3rd League in Men’s soccer. In recent years, PLAZAMEDIA has also acted as a production service provider for Deutsche Telekom for the European Soccer Championships and the Soccer World Cup as well as the European Basketball Championships 2022, nominated for the German Television Award last year.
